The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might appear unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the team enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to form the Explorers and Planners tables.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
